One thing our family is very good at is going on vacation. I absolutely love our traditional trips. I look forward to them with such anticipation and enjoy nothing more than sharing them with those I love. Sadly, this little jaunt down south meant we would be missing a few of our clan. Spencer had to work, Lincoln had to school, and Diana had to take care of paychecks. It was such a strange thing, to take a trip to our favorite vacation and having all of us fit in just one car. It was more than a little empty without them there.
Though, we did do our best to have some fun. We got some brief pool time in on the best day, we did a little wandering around the red rock, and we shopped. Also we listened to conference and shared a beautiful condo style resort with my aunt, uncle and their two kids. Though it was not the prefect trip and the weather hardly cooperated, it was good to get away for a little while and then get back to those we left behind.
