Over his last handful of days of Spen has been working on cabinets for a co-worker. This weekend we finally finished them off with paint and a clear coat. Have a look.
This first one is a piece that was specifically built to be on display and put to use.
The wife of his co-worker does people's nails and this pretty little cabinet will house all of her supplies.
We love the look of the grain and couldn't justify covering it with paint.
So we gave it a medium stain and finished off with a clear coat.
Next up is a cabinet built just for the sake of locking up some harmful substances like paint and cleaners.
It's not really the type of cabinet meant to be seen.
Just meant to be strong and functional.
So we just painted it with some blue/black paint we had sitting around.
I think they turned out great and am always impressed with how amazing his work is.
